Our auditing and accounting services include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing account balances by conducting some analytical procedures with limited assurance to determine whether or not the balances look reasonable.
In our role as an independent auditor, we conduct examinations of clients’ financial statements to determine the following:
- Propriety of underlying accounting measurements
- Fairness of presentation
- Adequacy of disclosure within the framework of accepted accounting standards.
In certain circumstances, such as municipalities and school districts that have waived generally accepted accounting principles, we will comply with the requirements outlined in the Kansas Municipal Audit & Accounting Guide. Where applicable, audits will be conducted within the guidelines of Governmental Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States and the provisions of Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133, Audits of States. Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations.
Verify financial statements in order to express an audit opinion. The audit opinion is intended to provide reasonable assurance that the financial statements are presented fairly, in all material respects, and/or give a true and fair view in accordance with the financial reporting framework.
