Bohme and Anderson selected for "20 up to 40" Leadership Program

Eleanor Roosevelt said it best, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
Here's our group of dreamers and achievers.

We are excited to share that two SJHL employees
have been selected to participate in the Kansas Society of CPAs "20 up to 40" Leadership Program. The KSCPA selects 20 certified public accountants from all over the state to participate, and SJHL's Andrew Bohme and Darren Anderson have been selected to be part of the 2015-16 class.

The "20 up to 40" Program was created to help members of the KSCPA up to the age of 40 develop their leadership skills by studying major leadership philosophies. It is meant to help accountants apply these skills not only to their professional life, but their personal life as well. Additionally, it provides young professionals with the opportunity to network, socialize, and learn from fellow colleagues and facilitators as well as bring vision, ideas and strategies to the KSCPA. SJHL is proud to have Andrew and Darren among this group of professionals and leaders.

Andrew (at left) is a Staff Accountant and has been with SJHL since 2012, earning his CPA designation in 2014. His areas of concentration include: audits for non-profit organizations and tax for individuals and corporations.

Darren, who joined SJHL in 2012, is also a Staff Accountant. He earned his CPA designation in 2014. Darren's areas of concentration are: governmental audits along with individual and corporate tax.

The 2015 program begins in July with a focus on developing leadership skills and beginning work on a class project. There are various classes and projects through the next several months culminating in June of 2016 at the KSCPA Spring Leadership session where the class project is finalized and presented to the leadership.

Congratulations to Andrew and Darren!
