SJHL Supports Children's Miracle Network Hospital

Aug 17, 2011

Thursday, August 11, 2011 was Dairy Queen's "Miracle Treat Day" and Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, LLC took the opportunity to support a great cause and eat some ice cream. Participating Dairy Queens donated $1 or more of each Blizzard sale to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital. SJHL bought each staff member his or her Blizzard of choice in support of the cause. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds for 170 children's hospitals across the country, and uses the money where it is needed the most. When a donation is given it stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is spent helping local children. Since 1983, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4 billion.

Overall, our local Dairy Queen served 1,144 Blizzards on Miracle Treat Day and will donate $4,400 to the Children's Miracle Network on McPherson's behalf. Giving never tasted so good!
